On Sunday August 21st 2016 we ran the Open Gardens and Scarecrow Trail. Many thanks to Susie and William Mitchell for arranging such a fantastic event for us.
The day did not start too well weather-wise, but in the afternoon it kept dry, although it was a little blustery.
We had 13 gardens and 19 scarecrows on show… and what a fantastic show we had.
The event was advertised on the internet and on the day we had lots of visitors… locals, of course… as well as people who had come from quite a distance, such as Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Coventry, Leicester, Worcester, and Milton Keynes.
The village had a real buzz about it, and everyone had a wonderful day.
You can see a selection of photos of the event by clicking here.
This was our first event of the 2016 Feast ‘season’. Once again, many thanks to Susie and William Mitchell for starting us off with such a splendid event.
